About Dr. Mark Dillof

Mark Dillof, Ph.D. has long been at the forefront of philosophical counseling. His fundamental interest is in knowledge that can expand our consciousness, transform our feelings, and ready the mind to receive the deepest wisdom. He has created The Dillof Institute for Transformative Knowing to offer a Western approach to Eastern wisdom. It is located in Louisville, KY, but many of Dr. Dillof’s students confer with him, by telephone, from other parts of the world.

Dr. Dillof has taught at five universities — Binghamton University, Broome Community College, Kaplan University, Post University and Granthum College. He has written three books: “Awakening with the Enemy,” “The Paranoid Vision,” and “Mysteries in Broad Daylight.” Dr. Dillof has also had a private practice, in philosophical counseling, for the past twenty-two years.

He earned an M.A. degree in philosophy from Binghamton University, an M.A. degree in psychology from New School University and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in both fields from Union Institute & University. He is a member of the the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling. (ASERVIC)
